Best Use Scenario

Since 1979, Chevignon has applied the same construction standards to every jean in the line. This Wide Leg reference is built from Tencel rather than cotton denim. The material is considerably lighter and responds to movement differently from the weight of a standard jean. Where a cotton Wide Leg falls with structure, this one moves with the air. The studded belt is part of the design from the start, defining the waist in a cut that carries volume throughout the leg. The black pigment wash holds its depth without the fade behavior of an indigo wash.

Our Denim

Chevignon applies the same construction criteria to every piece in the line regardless of the fabric. Hardware is chosen for durability over appearance. Seaming is reinforced at the points that take the most tension. Finishing decisions are made based on how the piece holds up over time, not just how it reads in the first week. Some references in the collection step outside the standard denim range to work with materials that behave differently under movement and wear. The construction approach stays the same.
