About Chevignon USA: French Heritage Since 1979
Chevignon started in France in the late 1970s, watching aviation jackets and workwear hold up after years of real use. Two materials kept earning their place: leather and denim. Guy Azoulay built the brand around that observation, and it still guides every piece we make.
That history now lives in the US. Chevignon operates a store in Houston, Texas, alongside chevignon.us, bringing French construction standards to American workwear culture. Men's clothing and women's collection both draw from the same two pillars: leather that ages with the person wearing it, and denim built to fade where it should while holding its shape everywhere else.
What French Construction Means Here
A Chevignon leather jacket starts with full-grain hide, cut by hand and stitched to hold its shape through years of wear rather than one season. Denim gets the same treatment: cotton blends chosen for how they break in, not just how they look on day one. Fit runs true to French sizing, which is why we note it directly on product pages rather than leaving customers to guess.
Denim and Leather, Designed to Be Worn
We don't design for a single moment in a customer's closet. A jacket bought this year should still fit into a wardrobe five years from now, worn in, not worn out. That's the standard Chevignon has followed since 1979, and it's the standard we hold to in Houston and online today.
